I’ve loved cats for as long as I can remember. When I was 10, I had a Cat Fancy magazine subscription and proudly plastered my half of the bedroom (which I shared with my sister) with cat centerfolds—she was thrilled, obviously. That love never faded. Today, I have three cats of my own and spend time each week volunteering with Love-A-Stray Cat Division in Avon, Ohio, a no-kill, all-volunteer rescue that does incredible work for homeless cats and kittens in our community.
Last year, I took in a stray mom and her two babies. After I found loving homes for the kittens, Love-A-Stray helped me find the perfect forever home for the sweet mama cat, Camille.
